The Westbrook Drum Corps is accepting new members! Members can join one of several sections: fife, snare drum, bass drum, or color guard. Prior musical experience may be helpful, but is not necessary.

New members will start marching with the color guard as they learn their instrument and songs to allow immediate participation and gain marching experience. The Westbrook Drum Corps has a large, evolving repertoire of music, consisting of general parade tunes, Irish selections, Christmas songs, Westbrook Specialties, and more.

The corps has approximately 25 performances per year throughout New England. Most performances are during the summer, however typically start in March (St. Patricks Day Parades) and run through early December (Holiday Parades). In addition to performances and rehearsals, the Westbrook Drum Corps also has corps happy hours, community give back events, and other outings.

The Westbrook Drum Corps has no membership fees or dues, and the majority of equipment is provided. We are a family-friendly group, and invite anyone with interest to learn more. Stop by a Tuesday night rehearsal, or fill out the below form to request more info.

John Johl, Color Guard

"I enjoy the music and traditions of fifing and drumming, as well as the reactions of the crowd as we come down the street, flags flying high and the drums beating."
